From the Companies module select Merge Companies Button.

Note: it doesn't matter which company you are currently on.

The button does a search on "suspected" duplicate companies records and takes you to this screen.

You must select at least 2 records which you suspect are "fully" duplicates.

Some records may be associated head/site office records and you can identify these by their Head/Site ID's. (head/site ID's are shared between records)

However If two records have  the same company name, same postal code and totally different Head/sites ids then they are likely duplicates. (Head site id's are NOT shared between records)

Select the the records for merging by clicking on the Merge Select checkbox next to each company.

Once you have your selections made, click the Merge Companies Pop Over

You are now presented with a summary of each record. You must select one record to "keep" and the other records to merge. (un-selected records are highlight in red)

The merging process will re-link (re-assign) all the invoices, Trainers, Students, activations, Loyalty , Contact and communication records form the "merge" company record(s) to the "keep"  company record.

The Process does NOT modify the address, email phone information

The qty of each of these records are shown at the bottom (Related Records)

The selected records;  Keep (highlight in green) and Merge (highlighted in yellow) can also be edited if necessary.

eg maybe a phone or email is on a merge record but not on the keep record. simply copy and paste where needed.

When the data  on the Keep record is what you want, click the Merge Companies button.

You will be prompted to choose between a "test" and a "real" merge, this allows you to walk through the process without actually affecting the data.
